Meet Your Lactation Consultant: A Helping Hand for Your Breastfeeding Journey

As a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I have spent 30 years helping mothers and families. I truly care about supporting mothers as they work toward their breastfeeding goals. My passion for breastfeeding is both professional and personal. As a mother of five children, I have experienced breastfeeding firsthand, nursing my own children for varying lengths of time. I understand that every baby is different, every mother’s experience is unique, and every breastfeeding journey has its own joys and challenges. I believe breast milk is truly amazing, and I am passionate about helping mothers understand its benefits while supporting them in reaching their individual feeding goals. Whether your goal is to breastfeed exclusively, combine breastfeeding with bottle-feeding, increase your milk supply, or simply feel more confident feeding your baby, your goals matter to me. I know that breastfeeding does not always come easily. Questions about latch, milk supply, pumping, and your baby’s feeding patterns can sometimes feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based guidance, practical solutions, and encouragement so you feel supported, not alone. Through personalized, in-home lactation consultations, I bring care and support directly to you, allowing us to work together in the comfort of your own home. I want every mother to feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. After 30 years of helping mothers, one thing remains important to me: every mother deserves support, encouragement, and the opportunity to work toward the feeding goals that matter to her. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you on this journey, offering knowledge, reassurance, and a helping hand along the way. Helping Hands Lactation: Thirty years of helping mothers. Compassionate support for every feeding journey.

Clinical background

Rigorous standards for tender beginnings

With over a decade of acute hospital nursing, my clinical foundation is grounded in neonatal care and postpartum recovery. Transitioning to private lactation practice allowed me to bridge high-acuity medical knowledge with unhurried, attentive home guidance.

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I complete ongoing advanced education in infant oral function and milk production dynamics, ensuring every recommendation rests upon current physiological evidence and gentle mechanics.
